Isle of Man TT

I am headed to the Isle of Man for part of TT week this year. I am going primarily to photograph Dave Roper leading the Parade lap this year riding the 1911 Indian you see below owned by Peter Gagan.......

 ...but am excited to be there to experience a handful of the races. Here is a
video to give you a taste of what it looks like there.

On a related motorcycle note. The shirts James helped me with are headed to the screen printing shop to be done next week. Here is a small preview.

Guzzi PI$TON

Well, the guzzi project continues. Got the piston I ordered from the King of Pistons in Italy. I thought I would share how cool the box is.

 

Looks like it was put in this box in 1960 and never touched until it was shipped to me last week.

Cool dome on piston and 4th ring below the wrist pin.

The logo of the piston flying around the globe is really funny. Would make a nice t-shirt. Speaking of t-shirts.....my friend James has been hard at work on a t-shirt design for me. I will be selling them on this blog in a few weeks I hope. Stay tuned.
